Greetings to you and welcome if this is the first time that you've stumbled across my blog. My name is Veronica and this will be my first post on here, so I will mostly be introducing myself. I used to be an active book blogger, but years of procrastinating have gotten in the way of that. I have not updated that blog in years, but if you'd like to check it out you can click on the link
here --->(V's Stack of Books). I am still active on my goodreads so if you like to read or have some books you would like to suggest, you are more than welcome to befriend me there.
Anyways this is me -->
I am a 22-year-old girl (yes, I am often mistaken for being 15 yrs old), fresh out of college. I feel as though I have my whole life ahead of me and I am pretty excited to see what the future holds. As an undergraduate I studied social work and minored in hard of hearing and deaf studies. It is my hope that one I day will be able to work with people in a palliative or hospice setting, but for now I want to focus on the present and have a lot of life-changing adventures.
I was born and raised in the the east coast of of the United States and from what I can tell I am pretty lucky. Growing up I was blessed with two wonderful parents, three sisters, and an entourage of awesome cousins. There was never a dull moment at home. As a youngster I always had a hobby, or as my family would tell me, an obsession to keep me busy. I used to love to skateboard and play on my pogo stick. I would spend hours watching Youtube tutorials of people doing tricks and crazy stunts hoping that one day I would be able to do that too. As time progressed my hobbies would change and I would be on to the next 'thing'. Right now my 'thing' is knitting and doing all sorts of crafts. I have a lot of fun trying to come up with crazy and fun knitting patterns for my hats and its always exciting to see stitches come together to form the images that I create in my mind. In my next post, I will share with you how I got into knitting and some awesome tutorials I found that really helped me get started.
What are some of your hobbies and did they change as you got older? Let me know in the comments below!
With love,
Veronica
